heating & hot water
A variety of green technologies are at your disposal to generate cost-saving, environment-friendly heating and hot water.
Heat pumps can replace traditional oil- and gas-fired boilers and are up to five times more efficient in heat generation. You need only around 15% of the energy of conventional equipment to generate equivalent heat.
Solar panels can generate between a half and three-quarters of all your hot water needs.
A combination of these two is often used, and can be particularly effective for heating swimming pools for example.
Under-floor heating, linked to heat pump technology, makes sure efficient use of the heat generated and is of course both invisible and maintenance free.
Heat recovery systems can also improve air quality and temperature control.
